Family run business, friendly and nice people. The place is retro in style but well kept and clean. The mise en place is like it used to be, that is, with a cotton tablecloth and napkins and not disposable paper... Complete with everything as shown in the photo, with oil cruet set cheese bowl bread basket breadsticks! However, my order was: Mezze Maniche alla boscaiola, scallops with cherry tomatoes (very tender) and baked potatoes, 1 liter of water, half a liter of red wine, limoncello is included in the price. To get there you have to leave your vehicles in a car park about 200 meters away as the town has a limited traffic area only for residents monitored by cameras.Adjacent there is a beautiful basilica to visit as well as the village.

Da Marco is always a guarantee, Mantuan home cooking rooted in the most original tradition, the risotto alla pilota is a classic, but the pumpkin tortelli and cotechino are sublime, Mantuan Lambrusco forever!

Trattoria just like those of the past, where on one side there is the bar counter while on the other there is the dining room. The walls of the corridor are all decorated with brightly colored drawings which give a very original touch to the whole environment. The menu is quite varied, with many dishes of traditional Mantuan cuisine and the wine list is also quite extensive.Wide range of desserts to choose from which, according to all the guests, were truly fantastic.

Thanks, you were really good.Family atmosphere, impeccable service, finding waiters like this is a rarity. It also deserves a 6 Very good food although overcooked donkey was too spicy. Perfect first courses, let's not talk about desserts. I hope everyone has an evening like this. Thanks again.

One of the best places in every sense: friendly, fast, excellent and plentiful dishes, unbeatable quality for the price! The place looks like a bar, a bit picturesque... but that's really its peculiarity. Possibility to eat inside or outside on the veranda.

Local located near the famous Mariano delle Grazie sanctuary, it offers a varied menu including numerous typically Mantuan proposals. We opted for pumpkin and sausage lasagne, very tasty and flattering (just a little tasteless) and pumpkin tortelli in the most classic Mantuan tradition, that is to say seasoned not with butter and sage, but with an abundant sausage sauce, sweet and captivating. Always respecting local tradition, we "shared" (2 half portions) a good pike in sauce with roasted polenta, all washed down with excellent Lambrusco Mantovano, pleasantly bubbly as expected from this wine. Generous portions, very quick, friendly and very kind service, honest prices, outdoor tables also available. Given the excellent quality/price ratio and the proximity to the sanctuary, it is advisable to book in advance.
